Handmade stoneware bowls in neutral colors
Our stoneware bowls are handmade unique pieces from a small manufactory in Portugal. They are made of high quality materials and are available in different sizes, shapes and colors.

Bowls in different sizes and shapes
Because it takes bowls to fit many applications, offer a wide range of sizes. These include:

Quality & Production
All our bowls are designed on the potter's wheel in our own studio at Josefstrasse 8 in Zurich. After extensive testing in the kitchen and discussions with our customers and restaurateurs, we always decide on sizes and shapes that we have mass produced for us.
Series production takes place in a small manufactory on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, by experienced craftsmen. Each piece is pressed into a hollow form, further processed by hand and glazed. With each hand step, the shape can change slightly - making each bowl a unique piece!
Colors and shapes
Joel has amassed a huge collection of bowls through his work as a food photographer - and has developed a clear idea of what shapes and colors make food look particularly beautiful.
- Organic shapes correspond to nature: even fruits and vegetables are never perfectly round! The organic lines provide a certain playfulness.
- Neutral colors, shades of gray, blue and white provide a nice contrast with the food. Even brown sauces look beautiful!
- Reactive glazes provide different color effects that make each piece all the more special and also add to the playfulness.
